Can I give a version a different name?
Click the name above the player to rename that version. The file keeps its own name for downloads, and the next upload is named by its file.
A version is named by its file until you give it a name of your own. The name belongs to that version only. When you upload the next version, it is named by its own file again, so a name you typed once never sits on a newer file.

Click the name above the player, or the pencil beside it.

Type the new name and press Enter. Esc keeps the old one. Clear the box, or type the file name, to go back to the file name.
The new name shows on your project page and on the client’s review page. Downloads keep the file name, so what your client saves is the file you exported. Files are still grouped into songs by their file names.
