Do all Soneam plans include every feature?
All plans include: no-login client review links, lossless FLAC playback, the streaming loudness preview, waveform-pinned comments, Fair Loudness A/B, recorded approvals, password-protected delivery, and payment-gated delivery with a 0% platform fee, on Free too: name a bank transfer or any other method and confirm it yourself. Free allows up to 3 versions per track. Pro and above add unlimited versions within their storage allowance, your logo and color on the client pages, the Visits panel, which shows recorded visits and playback sections for each version, card checkout on gated deliveries through your own Stripe, a verification link for each approval, a monthly report by email, and delivery files with no release time limit. On Free, files are available for 30 days per release and can be released again. Studio adds webhooks, so a client's approval, comment, upload or download can reach Zapier, Make or n8n.
Is there a free trial?
Free has no time limit and requires no credit card. It includes unlimited projects, 5 GB of storage, 1 GB of your own uploads a month and up to 3 versions per track. You can also try Pro features for 14 days starting with a client’s first playback. Storage stays at 5 GB and versions at 3 per track during the trial, and the monthly upload limit does not apply. It ends on Free without an automatic charge unless you choose a paid subscription.
Do my clients need an account or a paid seat?
Never. Clients open a link, listen to a lossless preview, comment on the waveform, approve, and download their delivery without creating an account. Clients and reviewers are free on every plan, always.
What counts toward my storage?
The files stored under your account: your masters, cover art originals, extra delivery files like stems or PDFs, files kept in a project, anything a client sends through an upload request, and comment attachments. The lossless preview copies Soneam generates for browser playback do not count against it, because they are generated for playback. If you hit the limit, nothing is lost or locked; you just need more space to upload new files. Free also allows 1 GB of your own uploads a month: versions, project files and delivery extras. Files a client sends you do not count toward it, and it resets on the first of each month (UTC).
Is it enough for session files?
You can keep ZIP files of sessions alongside your masters, within your storage allowance. Each file can be up to 50 GB. Keep a separate backup of your work. Check the size of your sessions when choosing a plan; they can take much more space than stereo masters.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing runs through Stripe, and you can change plans or cancel from the customer portal at any time. Existing versions, comments, approvals and deliveries remain available. On Free, a track with 3 or more versions cannot receive another version. New uploads must also fit within the storage allowance and, on Free, the monthly upload limit.
