How is storage counted?
Only what you and your clients upload. Everything Soneam makes from it is free.
Counted against your plan: the audio you upload, files your clients send you, extra files you attach to a delivery, project assets, cover art and comment attachments.
Not counted: anything Soneam generates from your files. The lossless preview made for browser playback, the waveform data, the resized cover images and the platform codec previews are all ours to pay for. A 200 MB master counts as 200 MB, whatever we build alongside it.
Plans are Free at 10 GB and five projects, Indie at 50 GB, Pro at 200 GB and Studio at 600 GB, the three paid ones with unlimited projects. What changes between plans is how much fits, never what works: lossless playback, the loudness preview, approvals and payment-gated delivery are on the free plan too.
Deleting a version deletes the file, and the space comes back straight away. A version that is part of a delivery your client can still open is protected from deletion, so tidying up cannot empty a package somebody already has the link to.
